A piece of cinema locked in a frame

How do I secure a photo session?

Send us a message in the contact session mentioning the package you would like. I will then get in touch and we can firm up the arrangements.

I'm happy to share my expertise and creative input to ensure everything is thoughtfully considered. This includes providing guidance on locations, lighting, and any additional details that will enhance the outcome of the images.

A £30.00 deposit is required upfront by bank transfer to secure the shoot. The remaining balance can be made in advance or on the day. 48 hours is required to cancel or postpone the agreed date. If cancellation made after this time you will lose the deposit.

Do you only offer the packages listed?

No, I have created specific packages on this website to try to be as transparent as possible with what I deliver and the costs involved. If you have something in particular in mind please write a message in the contact section. I'm very flexible (not in the touching toes sense) and have experience in commercial work and special family occasions such as birthdays, engagements, children parties etc.

Where do the shoots take place?

Either in the comfort of your own home or a location of your choice. For location shoots, I have a variety of tried and tested destinations within Essex and London I generally use for beach, woodland, countryside and street that provide the perfect backdrop for your images. Alternatively, if you have a particular spot you have set your mind on let me know and I'm normally more than willing to accommodate.

What happens on the day?

Throughout the photo session, my priority is to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for you and/or your partner/family. Whether it's your first time in front of a camera or you're a natural in front of a lens, I will provide gentle direction and guidance to encourage natural expressions and capture authentic moments. I will be attentive to every detail, so that the compositions and overall aesthetics are on point.

How long will the photos take to be ready?

After the photo session, I will carefully curate and edit the images. It is not always apparent to the customer but photo editing is a highly time consuming process and takes significantly longer than the photoshoot itself.

My post-production process is extensive and thorough. It includes selecting the best shots, adjusting tones, removing minor distractions, applying any necessary retouching techniques and editing in the same distinctive, cinematic style as my portfolio.

I'm a perfectionist and will pay close attention to every detail not just within the frame but across the collection, to ensure a range of different scenes, expressions and angles that work together to compliment each other flawlessly.

The images will be ready within two weeks, where they will be hosted on a beautiful online gallery (similar to the below) ready for you to download and easily share with your loved ones.

What areas do you travel to?

I can travel anywhere. For the packages listed travel is included in the price. If you are from further afield mileage is charged at 60p per mile outside of 15 miles from SS4.

How can I best prepare for a family shoot?

My top tip would be to book your session around your children's favourite time of day when they have bundles of energy and are well rested.

For location shoots, with the younger children I always recommend to bring items that will keep them happy such as toys, comfort items and snacks leading to more smiles and laughter and ultimately better photos.

What happens if it is raining?

Home shoots will go ahead whatever the weather but for shoots on location, we can look to reschedule the session to a date and time of your choice. That being said rain can bring about some of the most atmospheric conditions that can lead to great photos. The decision will be yours but we will come up with a solution.

Do you do sunrise shoots?

Being a photographer I'm well versed shooting around the clock chasing the sun. I'm available for early starts and late finishes so if you want to get some shots at night or wake up at the crack of dawn to get that golden hour glow and avoid the crowds just let me know.
